The Administrative Court dismissed a claim for judicial review of planning permission granted by the defendant local authority for the erection of a wind turbine on a farm. In the circumstances, the authority's planning committee had not erred in its conclusion that there were very special circumstances which justified the approval of planning permission, in accordance with paras 87 and 88 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
