Solicitor – Disciplinary proceedings. The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal had not erred in law in any respect, had asked itself the right questions, and had been entitled to make the findings and the conclusions that it made. Accordingly, the Divisional Court dismissed the appellant's appeal against the finding that he had permitted his firm to use money provided by the European Parliament to fund the provision of legal services under a contract for purposes not authorised, in circumstances in which the appellant knew or suspected that the purposes were not so authorised and ordering he be struck off the roll of solicitors.
