Gladman Developments Ltd v Daventry District Council

Town and country planning – Permission for development. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, dismissed the appellant developers' appeal against the judge's decision to quash a planning inspector's grant of planning permission for residential development of up to 121 dwellings. From the inspector's decision, it was clear that he had failed to grapple, as he should have done, with the issue posed by para 215 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012.
