G (a child) v The London Borough of Hackney

Personal Injury: Quantum case. Public liability. Psychiatric damage (general). Tooth damage. Facial disfigurement. PSLA of £8,000. The child claimant fell over loose concrete blocks and struck her face, causing facial injuries. It involved a subluxation of two baby teeth. She was very distressed and would not allow dentists to touch her teeth. Her teeth were eventually extracted, but she suffered from intrusive psychological symptoms. She has a scar on her face which is unlikely to disappear.
