Contract – Breach of contract. The Technology and Construction Court held that the defendant company was liable to the claimant, Fluor Ltd, to the extent identified, for breach of contract in a substantial dispute about the quality of fabrication of steel structures and transition pieces for an offshore wind farm in the North Sea. The court held that defendant had breached its obligations under a purchase order agreement because the steel structures and transition pieces, which it had delivered, had not been fit for purpose.
