FIL Ltd and another v Fidelis Underwriting Ltd and others

Trade mark – Infringement. The claimants' claim that the defendants had infringed six trade marks owned by the first claimant largely failed. Although the trade marks were invalid in so far as they were registered for 'fidelity insurance', that could be dealt with by altering the relevant specifications. On the evidence, the defendants had not infringed any of the trade marks.
