European Commission v Keramag Keramische Werke GmbH and other companies

European Union – Rules on competition. The Court of Justice of the European Union allowed, in part, the appeal by the European Commission against a judgment of the General Court of the European Union by which the General Court had annulled in part Commission Decision C(2010) final of 23 June 2010 which had found that Keramag Keramische Werke GmbH (KKW) and other companies had infringed EU competition rules set out in art 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and art 53 of the Agreement on the European Economic Area in the market for bathroom fittings and fixtures. The Court further dismissed the cross-appeal by KKW and those other companies against the General Court's decision regarding their participation in that infringement as regards the Italian part of that market.
