Ejiofor trading as Mitchell and Co Solicitors v Legal Ombudsman

Solicitor – Costs. The Administrative Court dismissed the claimant solicitor's application for judicial review of the defendant Legal Ombudsman's direction that he should refund the interested party, his former client, £34,000. The Legal Ombudsman had had jurisdiction to make the decision, it had not been made for an improper purpose and it had not been irrational or unreasonable.
