Insurance – Insurance policy – Insurable interest – Indemnity. Court of Session: In a commercial action in which the pursuers, the assignees of rights arising from a policy of insurance with the defenders, claimed indemnity under the buildings section of that policy following the destruction by fire of a public house, the court rejected the arguments of the defenders, who had declined to indemnify the pursuers, that the individual who took out the policy had no insurable interest in property destroyed and that the claim she had was not covered by buildings section of policy.
