The judge had not erred in his analysis that there was no need for assurances that, upon surrender, if the appellant did not regain fitness to plead within a reasonable time, he would be released and that he would not be exposed to a procedure akin to civil detention if found to be unfit to plead. The Divisional Court, in dismissing the appellant's appeal against orders for his extradition to Poland, further dismissed submissions concerning the appellant's fitness to travel.
