Law Society – Disciplinary committee. Section 137 of the Constitution of Trinidad and Tobago was not a constraint to the publication of the respondent Law Association's report on its inquiry into allegations against the appellant Chief Justice and its inquiry was not ultra vires its statutory powers. The Privy Council did not disagree with the Court of Appeal's finding that there was no appearance of bias on the part of the Law Association and the minimum requirements of fairness had been met.
