*Re Yaxley-Lennon (known as Robinson)

Contempt of court – Publications concerning legal proceedings. The defendant, Tommy Robinson, had no legitimate complaint about what had occurred in Canterbury Crown Court, making a suspended committal order of three months' detention for contempt of court. However, the Court of Appeal, Criminal Division, held that the finding of contempt made in Leeds Crown Court, following a fundamentally flawed process, in difficult and unusual circumstances, could not stand and the matter was directed to be reheard before a different judge.
