Pension – Pension scheme. The Chancery Division considered the legitimacy of decisions taken by the defendant trustees to amend a pension scheme used by employees of the claimant company, British Airways (BA). It held that, in June 2013, the defendant trustees had not made an effective decision to award a discretionary power which would allow them, from time to time, to uprate pensions by an amount in addition to the uprating directed by the appropriate Pension Increase Review Orders. However, BA's remaining claims were dismissed.
