- Inform the International Committee’s strategy on business development in the region, and;
- Enable members to participate in and assist in the planning and implementation of events which promote the business interests of the Bar in the US.
It is envisaged that the Group will meet infrequently and share information online. Interested members of the profession or relevant staff members of chambers (e.g. business development managers or senior clerks) can register their interest with Jessica Henderson (
JHenderson@BarCouncil.org.uk). All of those who have registered by 1 July and meet the abovementioned criteria will be invited to the Group’s first meeting.

- Enable members to participate in and assist in the planning and implementation of events which promote the business interests of the Bar in the US.
It is envisaged that the Group will meet infrequently and share information online. Interested members of the profession or relevant staff members of chambers (e.g. business development managers or senior clerks) can register their interest with Jessica Henderson (
JHenderson@BarCouncil.org.uk). All of those who have registered by 1 July and meet the abovementioned criteria will be invited to the Group’s first meeting.
This will be an informal body of barristers who either have practices in the United States or who are interested in establishing such a practice. It is chaired by the International Committee Member responsible for this region. Admittance is by discretion of the Chair (appealable to the Chair of the International Committee). The purpose of the Group is to:
