The BSB has issued its preliminary Strategy for 2010-2012 and Business Plan for 2010. The Plan involved a significant amount of thinking and planning. The BSB Chair, Baroness Deech, states in the publication:
“This strategy for 2010-2012 is not the final word on the BSB’s activities. This plan is issued in a preliminary form because we are faced with a huge amount of change.”
She continues:
“In devising our strategy for the next three years we have been mindful of the strengths of the profession that we want to preserve, including the international reputation the Bar has for providing high quality advocacy to all who need it and the long pro bono tradition.”
