Welcome to the new look Counsel magazine. Hot on the heels of our 25th anniversary, we thought it was time to introduce a fresher and more modern design for easier navigation. As the Bar Council continues to publicise its “Prepare for Change” campaign, Counsel is eager to stay one step ahead. We hope you enjoy reading it and look forward to hearing your feedback.
Whilst continuing to build on Counsel’s core strengths of delivering quality information and providing an essential resource, as well as an expanded news section, the magazine now includes three new and enhanced sections.
The Professional Update section will keep you up-to-date with the latest developments at the Bar Council and Bar Standards Board, whether rule changes, pending consultations or an update on their activities.
It has also added a new Member Services section, promoting the range of excellent discounts and benefits available to members of the Bar who pay their Members’ Services Fee.
The Events section will provide a round-up of forthcoming lectures, conferences and courses available over the coming weeks and months.
