As part of the BSB’s improvements to the system for handling complaints against barristers, the role of the Independent Observer was created to check all aspects of the system to ensure that it is operating in line with the agreed objectives and procedures.
Alan has worked as an independent consultant advising a number of private companies on commercial strategy, risk and governance.
