All practitioners are required to return a signed and completed record card indicating the CPD hours that they have completed in 2012 under the New or Established Practitioners Programme.
Established practitioners are required to complete 12 CPD hours by the 31 December 2012. Please note that hours completed after this deadline cannot count towards your 2012 CPD requirement, unless you have been granted an extension of time.
New practitioners are required to complete all the components of their programme by the 31 December of the third year of their programme. They are required to submit an annual record each year, setting out the CPD they have completed in that year.
Record cards must be returned to our offices by the 31 January 2013, although practitioners are encouraged to return their record card to our offices as soon as possible. Those who do not comply with the CPD rules could be fined £300.
Record cards can be downloaded from our website www. barstandardsboard.org.uk, located on the right hand side of the home page. Completed and signed record cards can be submitted by email to cpdrecords@barstandardsboard.org.uk If you have any queries in relation to your 2012 CPD requirements, please contact the CPD Compliance Team at the Bar Standards Board on 020 7611 1444 or email cpdrecords@barstandardsboard.org.uk
