Civil Litigation Solicitor/Barrister

Middletons is a medium sized multi-disciplinary Practice operating from 3 sites in Wiltshire and Hampshire providing a range of services to a broad spectrum of individual and business clients.

The position now available is to work with and take over the workload of one of the existing Dispute Resolution Partners (who will be retiring in the near future) and work with the other litigation Partner to develop the Department.

The candidate should have a good grounding in contentious work including Contract, Professional Negligence, Property, Will and Estate related issues, but able to flexibly deal with a range of disputes which cross the threshold of most High Street Practices (there is no P.I. or Clin Neg work). Advocacy skills would be an advantage.

The workload will be challenging but interesting and satisfying with a varied case load. The firm provides extensive access to resources including the major Practice Works, The Common Law Library and Lexis Nexis.

The atmosphere in the firm is friendly, supportive and conducive to a good work life balance. Partnership is never promised at the outset but prospects are real in the near future.

Position would suit a Solicitor with a few years experience who wanted to progress or a Barrister seeking a change of focus and working environment.

Initial salary £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
