TENANCY RECRUITMENT

Libertas Chambers is a forward-thinking, client-focussed barristers set with a nationwide presence. We are committed to a modern approach to providing legal services, utilising the latest technology with a streamlined business model.

We were founded in 2020 and have grown to 29 practitioners including 5 Silks, and 2 academic members. We have the benefit of a very experienced clerking team, and have been rapidly recognised by the practitioner guides.

We were one of the first Chambers to adopt a virtual model. That enables us to keep our overheads at a market-leading low rate, whilst our remote clerking expertise, and our access to conference facilities in most major cities, give us a national reach.

Despite the pandemic, our work-load is ever increasing. We need to recruit at all levels, but particularly amongst early-years practitioners. We invite applications from individuals and small groups to augment our core disciplines as national specialists defending in fraud and financial crime, serious and organised crime, and professional discipline / regulatory proceedings. Our virtual model allows us to consider applicants from around the country.

Applications (which will be treated in confidence) can be made to Head of Chambers Simon Csoka QC ( csokaqc@libertaschambers.com ) or Director of Clerking Marc King ( mking@libertaschambers.com ) ; both may be reached for exploratory discussion through Chambers on 0207 036 0200.
