DACB are leading advisers in the health and social care sector and as such we are regularly instructed in ground breaking and high profile cases. The national Healthcare Regulatory team provide strategic legal advice, legal updates and training to internal and external clients in the firm’s health and social care sector on regulatory issues, healthcare law, information governance, inquests, CQC inspections and enforcement, professional disciplinary, serious incidents, homicide inquiries, criminal investigations, mental health, patient care issues, Human Rights Act issues, and clinical and corporate governance. We provide strategic advice to clients across the public and independent sector throughout health and social care providers and commissioners across 6 locations, with a growing team of 50 specialist healthcare advisers.
The growth of the team and diversity of instructions delivers the opportunity to continue to recruit into the team. At present the particular opportunities arise in Bristol, Leeds and Manchester, where candidates for roles that include solicitors, associates, Senior Associates and Legal Directors would be welcomed. We are particularly keen to add further to our pool of advocates – we do the majority of our own advocacy at inquests, and indeed have 2 assistant Coroners within the team – this is an area where we excel and we are looking for skilled advocates (barristers or solicitors) to join our energetic teams.
