The Attorney General is seeking to appoint new members to two of his panels of junior Counsel in London to undertake civil and EU work for government departments. The Attorney General maintains three London Panels:
• A Panel for senior juniors;
• B Panel for middle juniors; and,
• C Panel for junior juniors.
On this occasion, we wish to invite applications to join the A & B Panels only.
Membership of the London panels is open to both barristers and solicitors with the appropriate qualifications. Applicants are appointed on the basis of ability and experience. Appointments will be for five years.
There is a wide variety of expertise required, not just in Public Law, to meet the needs of Government across the civil courts and tribunals. These can range from employment or personal injury to planning or social security. For more details, see the application pack.

Completed applications must be submitted by noon on Friday 6 April 2018.
The Attorney General will appoint the advocates who appear to him to be the best qualified regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion/belief, sex (gender), sexual orientation.
