Solicitor – Disciplinary proceedings. There was, overall, no proper basis on which the appellate court, on established principles, could legitimately interfere with the assessment of the evidence and the evaluative judgment of the Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal on any of the allegations of breach of professional conduct rules variously brought against the respondent solicitors and their firm, Leigh Day. Accordingly, the Divisional Court dismissed the appellant Solicitors Regulation Authority's appeal.
