Cheshire East Council v Secretary of State for Housing Communities and Local Government and others

Town and country planning – Permission for development. The claimant Cheshire East Council's application for an order quashing the decision of a planning inspector failed. The Queen's Bench Division held that the two decisions on which the inspector had relied in assessing the deliverability of housing supply had been correct and in accordance with the relevant guidance and, hence, the inspector had not erred in his decision.
