Immigration – Asylum seeker – Fresh claim – Suicide risk. Court of Session: Granting a judicial review petition by a failed Nigerian asylum seeker, who challenged a decision that her further submissions, in which she relied in particular on two psychological assessments which gave opinions regarding her mental state and suicide risk, did not amount to fresh claim, the court held that the respondent did not engage sufficiently with the terms of the psychological assessments such as to satisfy the requirement to exercise anxious scrutiny, nor did she give adequate reasons for the decision.
