Siddiqui v Chancellor, Masters & Scholars of the University of Oxford

Education – University. In the trial of an action for negligence, the claimant was unsuccessful in his claim that the defendant university's inadequate teaching and failure to notify the relevant examining authorities of the claimant's illnesses had resulted in a deleterious effect on the claimant's subsequent career and continuing health. The Queen's Bench Division dealt with issues of causation and limitation in dismissing the claim.
