Immigration – Deportation. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, dismissed the appellant Secretary of State's appeal against the decision of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (the UT), affirming the decision of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (the FTT), allowing the respondent Jamaican national's appeal against a deportation order. Setting aside the conceded error in the deportation decision, the FTT had given proper weight to the relevant considerations and directed itself properly, and the UT had been correct in having dismissed the appeal.
