Police – Pension. The wording between reg 30(2)(b) and (c) of the Police (Injury Benefit) Regulations 2006, SI 2006/932, made binding a final decision of a selected medical practitioner taken under, and for the purposes of, the Police Pensions Regulations 1987, SI 1987/257, as regards the questions whether the person concerned was disabled and whether the disablement was likely to be permanent, for the purpose of deciding whether a person was entitled to an injury pension under the 2006 Regulations. Accordingly, the Administrative Court allowed the claimant's application for judicial review of the defendant Chief Constable's refusal of an injury pension.
