Pan Petroleum Aje Ltd v Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum Co Ltd and others

Contempt of court – Striking out. Although the defendant operators of an oil filed had merely misunderstood the terms of the court order in making certain resolutions in the absence of the claimant petroleum company, they were nevertheless less in breach of the clear terms of the order and in contempt of court. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division therefore granted the declaratory relief to the claimant in the terms sought.
