Employment – Employment tribunal. In a case that had been found not to meet tests laid down in Lawson v Servo Ltd[2006] 1 All ER 823, and in which the employment tribunal (ET) had held that it lacked territorial jurisdiction to hear the employee's claims of unfair dismissal, race and age discrimination, the Employment Appeal Tribunal considered whether jurisdiction had, nevertheless been conferred on the ET by the European Parliament and Council Regulation 1215/12 (recast) and the Equality Act 2010.
