Personal injury – Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) – Breach of statutory duty – Liability. Court of Session: In an action by a pursuer who sued his former employers for chronic PTSD said to have been suffered as result of a fire at a power station following which he had to be rescued from the roof of a tall building, the court held that the pursuer had failed to establish any breach by the defenders of the statutory duties imposed on them, either by s 53 of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 or any health and safety regulations.
