Education – Exclusion from school – Discrimination. Court of Session: Refusing an appeal against a decision of the Additional Support Needs Tribunal for Scotland by the mother of a female boarding school student who had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and who was excluded after she was found having sex with a male student, the appellant claiming that her daughter was disabled and that the school's decision amounted to unlawful discrimination, the court rejected the appellant's contentions that the tribunal had erred in concluding that her daughter was not disabled, that they had failed to have regard to the expert evidence, the appellant's evidence, or appropriate guidance, and that they had failed to provide a proper analysis together with adequate reasons.
