The Companies Court, in deciding a preliminary issue in proceedings concerning the alleged improper diverting of the assets of a company, held that an error in a freezing order was enough to invalidate, or preclude reliance by the applicant upon, those grounds of committal that related to the respondent's assets outside England and Wales, where the respondent was not a United Kingdom citizen and English was not his first language.
