European Union – Trade marks. The Second Board of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (the Board) had erred in its conclusion that there was no likelihood of confusion between the intervener company's figurative sign, representing a curved and angled line, which it had sought to register and an earlier EU figurative sign, representing a capital letter 'D'. The General Court of the European Union so held in upholding the applicant company's application for annulment of the Board's decision.
