Personal Injury: Quantum Case. Road traffic accident. Orthopaedic injuries. PSLA of £1,900. Following the accident, the claimant suffered from pain and stiffness in the neck, radiating to the right shoulder. Symptoms were moderate for two weeks, then minor on an ongoing basis. Examination just over five weeks post-accident showed a reasonable range of movement, but some paravertebral muscle tenderness on the right. Progress of recovery was three months post-accident. He took two days off school and made one primary care visit.
