Order – Civil restraint order. The Chancery Division, following an earlier judgment against Max Couper and the trustees of Couper Collection Charitable Trust, concerning the right to display an art collection in Albion Wharf, Battersea, granted a civil restraint order against Max Couper and his wife. The court held that, in circumstances where declarations had been made in favour of the first and second defendant and subsequent applications by Mr Couper and his wife had been dismissed as being totally without merit, unless they were restrained by an extended civil restraint order, they would continue to abuse the processes of the court by making unfounded applications.
