Immigration – Leave to enter. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, dismissed the appellant charity's appeal against the judge's decision, dismissing its application for judicial review of the Immigration Rules on the admission to the United Kingdom of adult dependant relatives of British citizens, persons settled in the UK and those in the UK pursuant to refugee leave or humanitarian protection. The relevant Immigration Rules were not ultra vires, irrational or incompatible with art 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
