Family proceedings – Orders in family proceedings. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, dismissed the husband's appeal against a financial remedy order made between the parties following a divorce. The judge, in ordering the payment of a lump sum of £1.6m to the wife in four instalments over two and a half years and to transfer to the wife of 25% of his pension, had been right, and his findings of fact had been unassailable.
