Appointment of the ICCA Chair of Governors & Vice Chair (SBAs)

The ICCA is the educational and training arm of the Council of the Inns of Court. We are seeking to fill two vital  positions on our Board of Governors.

Chair of Governors

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable understanding and considerable experience of advocacy and  advocacy training. The Chair will provide visible leadership and ensure that the Governors take effective oversight of the ICCA’s wide variety of work, including governance of the new Bar Course.

Vice Chair (SBAs)

The Vice Chair (SBAs) will have responsibility for ensuring that the knowledge, skills and expertise of the Specialist Bar Associations are integral to the work of the ICCA. Vice Chairs, where necessary, deputise for the Chair.

The Chair and Vice Chair will be practising members of the Bar, save where it is considered that another individual is the best person for the role.

More information on these critically important roles can be found on the ICCA website www.icca.ac.uk/vacancies.

Applications should be received by midday on 30 October 2020.
