The Bar Standards Board, the regulatory body for barristers in England and Wales, is seeking members for its Committees Do you have the ability to deal with practical issues as well as policy matters? Are you able to analyse and reach decisions on complex and sensitive issues including issues that will have a long term effect on the Bar? Can you work as part of a congenial but intellectually rigorous team? Can you carry credibility with both the public and the profession? Do you have an interest in the justice system?

If you have some experience and knowledge of a wide variety of areas of relevance to the law, regulatory matters and service users plus an awareness of diversity issues for consumers and the profession then you could be just the person.
